Die Schlauchkonstruktion hält Öltemperaturen von bis zu 150 °C stand und gewährleistet so die Integrität der Komponenten in hohen Hitze- und Belastungsumgebungen. Hochfestes geflochtenes Gewebe hilft Edelmann Druckschläuche Pulsationsdrücken bis zu 1.500 PSI und Berstdrücken zu widerstehen, die 6.000 PSI überschreiten. Die Druckschlauchabdeckungen von Edelmann sind sehr beständig gegen Öl, Hitze und Ozon, wodurch normale Baugruppen vorzeitig versagen. Ausgestellte Aderendhülsenenden verhindern das Einklemmen oder Schneiden des Schlauches an engen Biegungsstellen. Das Metallrohr ist mit einer Zink-Aluminium-Legierung beschichtet und mit einem aluminumreichen Epoxid-Decklack versehen. Die Kupplungen und Beschläge sind verzinkt für Rost- und Korrosionsschutz. Bei Bedarf für die spezifische Anwendung sind Montagewinkel, Hitzeschilde und Rohrummantelungen (zum Schutz des Schlauchs) enthalten.
